An Scholarly poem from our Adaikalaraj

The Red Sonnet

A lamb slaughtered, first, bled red in the ‘Garden of Eden’.
Abel’s red cried unto his creator form the lawn it spread!
Then the scriptures said no salvation without the red on.
The red Nile made the oppressors dread.

The red on the threshold left the Jews alive,
And parting of the red sea is a miracle still so alive.
The red on the on the crucifix saved our lives,
And the return of the redeemer, we expect in red.

So on red, mobility comes to a halt,
Also it’s with red sun everyday begins a start.
Red, a symbol of courage, sacrifice, and love,
And in red, Crewindians coordinate like hand ‘n’ glove.
